Training Update

Well I almost didn't get in my "big" run this weekend due to the storm, but Tim moved all the trees off the driveway and then got the mower out and blew off all the sticks so I'd have a clear path on the driveway. I knew the bikepath would be a mess so I didn't even want to try that.

Here's my report-but bear in mind I don't have mile markers on the driveway so it's not as exact as when I run the bike path.

Distance run before a break=1.75 miles
Total run/walked=2.3 miles

Keep it up! Since I don't do any running, anything more than a mile is impressive to me. I just remember having to run the mile in gym class and my side stabbing me as I reached the 3/4 mark, finally reaching the end hurting and exhausted and knowing I had done something wrong. With your training program, you will be able to reach the end of the half marathon pleased with yourself (and hopefully not hurting too much).
Kudos to you for doing your big run this week with the crazy weather!
