Happy Birthday!

Today is my sister's birthday, so you should all jump over there and wish her a happy day! It's her first birthday as a Mother, and as we all know, once you have kids your birthday falls by the wayside. However, my sister has always made a point to remember my birthday so I'll do the same for her :)

Here's one of my favorite pictures of her in recent years. It's the engagement picture I took for her and Josh in the summer of 2007.

And then there is this precious one of her and Sean, I didn't take it, but I love it!

Mary, from this birthday on, your life takes a different turn. Pretty soon you won't remember how old you are, you'll have to take Sean's age and add to it to find your own. You'll think you don't care that you've had another birthday because his will be so much more significant.

But then another year will pass and you'll be thankful for each birthday you have, as it means you've been married to a great guy for yet another birthday and raised a beautiful boy for one more year of your life.

Birthdays, they're good stuff! A great time to reflect on the wonderful changes in your life in the last year.
