Jesse has been fussy all week with those two teeth working on coming in. He was fussing one night as I was trying to make dinner and help Eli finish his homework.
I had Jesse sitting in his seat and kept giving him things to eat to keep him content but by the time we were sitting down to dinner he just couldn't hardly be appeased.
Eli says to me, "Why don't you just feed him?"
I replied a little exasperated since he had been sitting there doing homework and knew I had been feeding him, "I have been!"
He just slightly hesitated, "No, I mean..." then he faded out, but picked back up and said, "Just feed him the regular way," as he motioned with his arms like he was holding a baby.
"Oh, you mean nurse him?"
"Yeah."
"Well, he doesn't nurse much anymore, he's getting big, he's almost one. But that was a very good idea!"

I guess he's right about the regular way babies eat. :)
Good for him!! I think it's GREAT that he thinks that how babies are supposed to eat!! Good for you setting that example, Mama!!
