What a way to wake up

Saturday morning I hear our bedroom door squeak open. Then I hear little feet padding over to my side of the bed. I can't quite tell who it is, but I know it's not Jesse.

I force my eyes open, it's only 7:40, but it's Saturday! There's Simon. My heart skips half a beat in worring about his little pinkie. He's smiling, so my heart beats normally.

"I want to tell you something."

"Okay," I croak.

"In your ear."

"Okay," as I wiggle over to the edge of the bed so he can whisper in my ear. What could it be? Tim's still asleep, no one can hear. Why does he need to whisper?

He leans over and gets right in my ear. BELCH!

"Ah, Simon! That's disgusting!"

He giggles, laughs, and skips out of the room.

Simon is causing those who read of this event to smile. Is that one of the gifts GOD has given him? With You as Mother, he'll learn to only wake Mom in emergencies, Not to see her beautiful smile!
