My Tim

My Tim is having a birthday again. He's 37 now. Seems like the time between those birthdays gets shorter and shorter. I think the older we get the more we pack into our time between birthdays.

On his birthday I like to write down what I love about Tim. I think it's good to do that periodically, by no means is this a complete list, just what I happen to be thinking about right now.

I love his craziness and his smile. I love that he wants to be the best he can be for me. I love that he's a list maker (although finding used envelopes with random lists on them in odd places does get old) and a doer. I love that he pushes me to be the best version of me there is. I love his voice and affection. I love the way his brain works totally different than mine but that we're on the same page. I love that he continues to pick me to be his wife every day and works diligently at having a great marriage.
What we have discovered is that the 20's are for finding your path and laying a foundation for your life plan. The 30's are for raising your kids and working hard on your plan. Both of which he does well. I think he is very successful at his 30's and I'm glad we've got a few more years of them.
