Good News

Not the Good News, that comes Sunday! But good news, none the less.

You probably have not remembered, but I mentioned in passing at Jesse's 9 mo check up the doctor wanted to keep an eye on something that wasn't progressing quite right. Well, shortly after that she said she talked to the specialist and they used to wait until they are a year old to see if it clears up on it's own, and they now want to see them before they turn one, if possible.

I called and set up an appointment with the specialist. The earliest they could get him in was today (three months from when I called).

Monday I took him to our doc for his one year check up and she indicated the problem still existed, unfortunately, so I kept our appointment for today.

When we got in with the specialist, he checked Jesse over and looked at me and said, "Everything's fine, right where it should be. He shouldn't have any problems in the future. No corrective measures needed. No surgery."

And that was it.

Apparently between Monday and today, God did his thing! It would have been a routine surgery had Jesse needed one, but my friends, God has his hand on my little guy. Let's all say it together, God is good!

That is wonderful news! Daniel had tubes put in his ears when he was right at a year old and while it might not be a huge surgery it is still scary seeing them sedated and rolled away from you. God is good!

Yay! God loves us! It's kinda like God gives a "warm fuzzie," at least that is how I feel!

its such a relief to find out you dont have to go thru surgery at such a young age, I know I thru a huge fit when they took wyatt for a surgery when he was 7mos for his leg. I was telling the doctors that I didnt think he needed it, and that he would be just fine. Inside I was heartbroken to see him being put to sleep and wheeled away from me. So I can definetly empathize with you on the surgery thing, I know your relieved. And yes God is good.
