Oh where oh where has Janelle gone?

Sorry I've been so quiet! I got run down last week and ended up staying home from work and sleeping for a couple of days. It did my body good. I'm going to be much more diligent in making sure my body gets enough of the good sleep that it needs. But that's easier said than done when you have four little boys, a full time job, and a household to run, not to mention we're gearing up for our summer business.

Tim and I have even determined that this summer there will be no TV for us-it draws us in when we are tired and then we watch it and start our bedtime routine much later than we should. So if we just don't turn it on, we should go to bed when we get tired and then be fully rested for the next day. However, we both love TV so it will be a rough go, but is what is best for us and our bodies.

We can't afford for either of us to get run down and sick this summer. There's too much going on and too many little boys that need us everyday. All day.

I do wish it was easier to do the good and right stuff, maybe I'll learn how to do that better this summer. Here's hoping!

I worked on taxes this weekend too, in hopes I can get them done without trying to rush later. That always takes some time. I have everything done but our business section, so it shouldn't take long now, and all of the papers are organized, but I ran out of nap time and once Jesse is up doing tasks like that become much more difficult and it's better just to wait. Don't really want to rush through filing taxes! Then I just need to plow through state and city, which aren't bad once you have the federal done.

Anyhoo-I should be back to regularly scheduled programming now!

I'm glad that you're getting back to full steam. It's easy to get run down when you're spinning all the plates you're spinning. Hang in there!

Your body needs a Sabbath also. No TV is only for a season. This too will pass, and you will have time to watch TV later. Right now there are other top priorities. You'll have a fruitful, fantastic Summer, and you'll be ready to fully enjoy it!
